		<description>Hey Sarah,

I just realized that I replied to you via email but never on the comments section. So this is late, but better than never. This is for future readers!

You cannot "damage" your hardware by installing another operating system. As long as your friend is experienced with operating system installation, there should be no problems. If you are fed up with Vista, you can always format your hard drive and install any operating system of your choosing. You must understand that you have purchased a license for Vista when you bought the computer, so it was priced into the deal. If you install Windows XP, you will need an additional license for that in order to activate the product. This will cost you some money.

I will write a post in the near future specifically addressing the common questions regarding Mac Vs. PC. I do get them all the time.

Hope that helps somebody!

		<description>Hi Colin,

Boy do I have some questions for you!

About a year and a half ago I bought a new computer and the sales rep told me that I had no choice the only operating system I could get was first addition vista (despite all my efforts to get anything else). I don't know if it is just Vista or maybe I was sold a lesser quality computer but now I find that my internet browsers constantly stop responding among numerous other problems. I have a friend that has XP and has offered to put it on my computer for me but I don't know if this is safe. Am I running the risk of damaging my computer? What should I know about changing operating systems?

Also, what is the major difference between Mac and Windows. I have heard that Mac is better but no one says why. What's your opinion?

		<description>Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the comment. My latest post attempts to explain what a router does, and what it's typically used for.

		<description>Hi Colin,

Could you explain to me what a router (sorry my spelling isn't all that great) is and what it does or maybe where I might be able to learn about them.

Thanks

		<description>Yan,

Nice Suggestion. As is the case with 99% of your suggestions, comment followups via email has now been implemented. Thanks again!</description>

		<description>Colin,

Could you clarify what to look for when selecting a media download software? I have been told that Limewire is the worst for viruses but other then Kazaa and BitTorrent I do not know of any others and I don't really like Limewire. Any suggestions?

		<description>Colin

If I were to suggest, would you have "Subscribe to Comment" option on your comment section so that we could be updated if there is any new response.

You know people like me tend to forget where I left a comment. Surely you'd want me to &lt;a href="http://thoushallblog.com/how-to-keep-your-commentators-coming-back/"&gt;keep coming back&lt;/a&gt; here, wouldn't you?
