Computers serve many purposes, and can perform many functions. Mathematics and computers are very much related, so it’s no wonder that powerful PC’s can perform complex mathematical operations in an instant. The famous Windows Calculator has long been a handy tool. It is little-known that the basic functionality of the Windows Calculator can be extended into a fully-functioning scientific calculator. Lets see how to make this possible.

First off, start the Windows Calculator program. If you don’t know how to do this, please follow the steps below:

1) Click the “Start” button

2) Click on “All Programs”

3) Click on “Accessories”

4) Click on “Calculator”

Now you should have the Windows Calculator program running. By clicking on “View” at the top, you have the option of choosing “Standard” or “Scientific.” Click on Scientific, and you will have transformed the program into a full-blown scientific calculator! Pretty neat don’t ya think?
